We run our VPS platform from two datacentres:
- Auckland, New Zealand: DataVault, in Grafton
- Sydney, Australia: Equinix SY4, in Mascot
We own and manage our core server and network equipment in both locations.
Which location should I choose?
- Auckland is the best choice if most of your visitors or users are in New Zealand. It gives the fastest response times within NZ, and keeps your data in New Zealand.
- Sydney suits sites and apps whose visitors are mainly in Australia.
If you're not sure, choose the location closest to the people who'll use your server most.
Choosing or changing your location
If you'd like your VPS in a particular location, let us know when you order, or open a support ticket. Moving an existing VPS to another location may involve a new IP address, so let us know if you're thinking about it and we'll talk you through the options.
