Yes, you can upgrade your hosting plan at any stage.
Billing changes are prorated, if your new plan is $2 more than your previous and you are half way through your billing cycle you will be billed $1.
If you wish to upgrade your plan you can do so through the Services menu here Click on your server then "Upgrade/Down Grade on the top left.
