Yes. Every cPanel web hosting and reseller hosting account is backed up daily at midnight (NZ time) to off-site storage, and we keep the last 14 days of backups.
Backups are managed by JetBackup, which you can use yourself from cPanel. You can restore your whole account, or just the files, databases or email accounts you need, without contacting us.
Restore from a backup
- Log in to cPanel from your service page under Services → My Services (https://www.hooplahosting.co.nz/client/clientarea.php?action=services).
- Find the JetBackup section.
- Choose what to restore (for example Full Account, Files, Databases or Email Accounts), pick the backup date, and start the restore.
Keep your own backups too
Our backups are there to help if something goes wrong, but we still recommend keeping your own copy of your website and email, especially before making big changes. You can download a backup at any time from JetBackup, or from Backup under Quick Shortcuts on your service page.
If you need help restoring something, open a support ticket and we'll take care of it.
