Using imapsync an application which syncs email accounts together.
- Usage of imapsync is simple and effective.
- Operates on all operating systems.
- Enables you to sync multiple email accounts from your old provider to Hoopla Hosting.
Download imapsync ( You can support the developer or download from Github )
- Download the .zip file
- Extract to your desktop
- Open the imapsync folder.
- Follow the windows directions.
Step 1:
Enter your email account logins, host details in the following format/syntax within a .txt file called file.txt. Ensure its next to the file - sync_loop_windows.bat.
old-hosting-hostname;old-hosting-email-account;old-hosting-email-account-password;new-hosting-hostname;new-hosting-email-account;new-hosting-account-password;;
* You can do multiple lines for multiple accounts.
Step 2:
Then run the sync_loop_windows.bat file and it will start the sync.
Take note of any errors as they may indicate serious sync transfer issues.
NOTE: Passwords with special characters will cause issues.
