Open https://your-server-ip:10000 in your browser. If a domain or hostname points to the server, you can use that instead, for example https://server.yourdomain.co.nz:10000.
Log in with your server's root username and password, or with any user that has sudo access.
The first time you connect, your browser will probably warn you about the certificate. That's expected, because Webmin starts with a self-signed certificate. You can replace it with a free Let's Encrypt certificate under Webmin → Webmin Configuration → SSL Encryption.
If the page won't load
- Make sure port 10000 is open in your server's firewall.
- Check that Webmin is running:
systemctl status webmin. If it isn't, start it withsystemctl start webmin. - Make sure the address starts with
https://, nothttp://.
To keep your server secure, we recommend allowing only your own IP addresses to reach Webmin. You can set that under Webmin → Webmin Configuration → IP Access Control.
