Every domain on our shared web hosting, reseller hosting and Managed cPanel VPS gets a free SSL certificate from Let's Encrypt. This includes addon domains, subdomains and the www. version of each domain.
Certificates are installed and renewed automatically by AutoSSL, so there's nothing for you to set up. Let's Encrypt certificates last 90 days, and AutoSSL renews them well before they expire.
How long does it take?
After you add a domain to cPanel or point it to us, allow up to 48 hours for the certificate to be installed. It's usually much quicker. If you don't want to wait, you can run AutoSSL yourself. See AutoSSL.
Nameservers
For AutoSSL to work reliably, your domain should use our nameservers. See Which nameservers do I use? If your domain's DNS is managed somewhere else, we can't guarantee the certificate will validate.
